I don't love El hazard. I like the shows in the El Hazard universe but, they've never had the same sort of emotional pull on me that many other series have. Alielle's character design had always appealed to me though specifically her beautiful enchanted eyes.

Unsurprisingly her eyes are what drew me to this cel and kept me interested in it. I looked at it for literally years on the dealer site admiring it's beauty but, hesitating because the price tag on it was far more than was interested in spending on a cel from a show I didn't actively collect. During one of Anime-Chaos' deep discount closing up shop sales though, I had to pick her up. Now I'm so glad I did or I know that I would have regretted not doing so forever. The only negative thing I have to say about this cel is that I have never understood why the partial arm seems to have a face, since in the actual show that bit is covered by a sleeve I have to think it's one of the animators having a bit of fun.
